Enjoying the Ride
hey radiant souls! ππ»β¨
Things are buzzing around here with several new projects I’m working on (can’t wait to share the details with you soon!)
All the busy-ness has caused me to reflect on the topic of chaos. Chaos is the seed of creation but many times we experience it as tumultuous and not at all inspiring. Can there be such a thing as positive chaos and negative chaos?
With positive chaos, we have the “Oh boy, this is going to be gooooood” feeling of acceleration. I compare this one to the start of a rollercoaster when you are just beginning to pick up speed and you hope the turns and loops don’t scare you too much. It’s a time to throw your arms up and feel the wind on your face as you rush toward inevitable excitement.
With negative chaos, our energy sits more in a state of overwhelm. We feel things swirling around us but we can’t seem to grab hold or get our footing very easily. Instead of excited anticipation, we feel a sense of panic or dread. We don’t buckle up for the ride, we withdraw and retreat to safer ground.
The key to how we experience chaos stems from our perspective. If we can master the ability to change the way we look at things, we can navigate any maelstrom of energy with greater ease. I call this designing our own roller coaster - we know it’s a dramatic ride but we can decide where to put the twists and turns and whether or not we’re keen to flip upside down.
My Guides shared a helpful tip for navigating chaos. When we break down the word into its component letters, we can remember to Choose How Anything Obstructs Serenity.
Switch your perspective and you engage chaos on your own terms.
Here’s to riding the rollercoaster with joyful abandon, arms outstretched and big smiles as we race through the new terrain.
Enjoy (and In-Joy),
Heather
